I grew up in a small town in the Western Austrian Alps and then left to see the world: I studied at the University of Vienna, Austria, worked as a Foreign Language Assistant in North Yorkshire, England, and also studied at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia. I have always loved to travel and have traveled in Europe, Australia, the U.S., Asia, and South America. Workwise, after teaching in Vienna, Austria, I ended up in New York City, USA, as a math teacher first in Hell’s Kitchen and then in East Harlem for the last few years. On 7/31/08 I left the U.S. to return briefly to my hometown in Austria, visit friends and family and plan MY TRIP AROUND THE WORLD! I bought my RTW-TICKET (Round-The-World-Ticket) on Sept.15, 2008 and my trip around the world will start Oct.20, 2008 and end at the end of July 2009 at the latest
